"Polyester Flannelette Laminated Vinyl"- I have a mattress pad that my DH's grandmother gave us made of this. The package looks like she bought it in 1975, but it says it is water proof and reversible. She gave us a lot of weird stuff recently when she moved, but I am thinking this might be a real find. I thought I might be able to put a layer between my soaker pad and the exterior fabric and turn a fitted into an AIO. Does anyone have a clue? Would it work like PUL?
I am new to sewing and appreciate any suggestions. I tried joining the diaper sewing group on Yahoo, but I got rejected. I returned the application about myself and everything. I am bummed about that.

you were rejected? that stinks. there are plenty of other diapersewing lists on yahoo, i don't know if we are allowed to link those here though, i can't remember. i'll pm you a list that i have.

i think you should just give it a shot. i mean its free material, why not try it! maybe just make a cover out of it first before you go and use a bunch of material making an aio that you aren't sure will work or not.
