I want to sow these outside the run, but close to the fence. I have looked and found that chickens are not supposed to be allowed to eat daffodils, but am wondering about the echinacea and black eyed susans. I also want to plant sunflowers (I think the girls will like these

Does anyone know if this will be okay?

my experience is that chickens don't eat what they shouldn't. When let loose to pick bugs in my flower beds... they don't bother with the daffodils or flowers...They go nuts for my parsley.... and woe to the ants next they find because you have to pull them off it, or they uproot flowers.

I have daffodils and purple coneflowers. My chickens never seem to be interested in them, they are too busy chasing bugs.
