It is fabulous! Like so fabulous I don't know where it has been all my life!

Anyway- I just got the Bravado Body Silk and while I thought that it would be silk it is really a microfiber type material- with no nipple show cups- it stretches perfectly and will fit me when I shrink and fit me when I am huge... Not the sexiest- but definitely a keeper! I highly recommend this bra!

Also- I bought one of the Bravado nursing tanks too- it too is fab! I don't know why I never tried one before (ok- probably because they are so expensive)- but this tank is a bra first and a tank second. I can't wait to actually bf out of it! Awesome!

Not to be vain (but I am)
but what do they make you look like with clothes on? I can't stand looking like I have two, saggy non-distinct lumps under my shirt. That's my main problem with non-underwire bras. So far I bought one underwire nursing bra at Target and was going to figure out a plan after baby is here and my milk supply normalizes a little. I tried on a nursing tank at Target, but looked like a sagging sack of maternal boobiness.

Can I ask what size you are? I wear a 34H or 36G and I tried this bra:
http://www.bravadodesigns.com/product.asp?ID=4&area=US
and HATED it!!! Like seriously, there are no smilies here that could convey my hatred of that bra. The fit! The look! Blegh. . .it turned me off Bravado almost forever, but now looking at their site, some stuff looks cute. But unless I hear it from another big boobied lady, I don't trust 'em

I am about a 34 C/D- yeah I suppose the cup size does make a huge difference. I think it looks great under clothes- I am very very vain
I mean it isn't a wonder bra or anything- but comfy and NO NIPPLE!

i wear a 38 G/H and i wouldn't even order this one;. what is up with the peekaboo hole? but i ordered the XL++ (http://www.bravadodesigns.com/product.asp?ID=3&area=US) and it definitely got me through the first few months, then it was moved strictly to sleeping duty. i very much dislike the way these bras push your boobs together, though. when you are big breasted, don't you want something that separates and lifts, or is that just me? everything kind of gets sweaty after a while. it feels like there isn't much option for women with bigger breasts. i had a couple of ones from motherhood that were not as covering, but had the lift i wanted. anyhow, i did just order another one because they are great for sleeping. bravado says that underwire aren't recommended by lactation specialists, but i would really prefer an underwire myself.

hope that helps from a big boobed mama.

I effin' LOVE my Body Silk bra! I'm a 34E right now (although I'm probably more like 36, have had to go to the outer rows of hooks, but that'll go back once baby's out), and it is the only comfortable bra that doesn't make me look pancakey.

My breasts are kind of far apart, so it's hard to to give them uni-boob, but these give some decent shaping. I'm not embarrassed to go out in it, anyway! I think it looks pretty good -- not a perfectly constructed, encapsulating underwire, by any means, but there's the look of fullness and support and not-sagginess.

And OH MY GOD they make it in cherry red now! !!! !!!

I also have a Bravado tank ready to go, and a regular ++ Bravado (both are too small around the chest now, but will be right later). I found that I had to use the Breakout Bras sizing calculator to get the best fit -- standard calculators make me a 36D, but those slip all over the place and look awful, while a 34DD or E is just perfect.

I've been desperately wanting a new nursing bra, so now I might have to order this one to try it. There is a department store in town that apparently sells great nursing bras, but they are even more expensive than a Bravado so maybe I will go with this one. Do they have a good return policy in case it doesn't fit?

I got one of these as my present this year. Only thing I said I wanted so I got fitted on Christmas Eve. I love a good supportive secure underwire bra typically and this was comfy to wear all day yesterday. Looked decent under clothes though I think the girls started smooshing together as the day went.

The other I got was a Medela bra, similar support and initial feel. I will wear it tomorrow for comparison.

Excited to know another Bravado option! I splurged on the Spice (black with hot pink accents) and LOVE IT! I had tried the original plus with dd and did not care for it at all! I didn't get what people loved so much about Bravado. It was a cool leopard print, but I didn't like pulling it over my head, the snaps, or the uniboob look. (I'm a 38DD/E). I'll be searching for sales on the body silk now.
: Thanks for sharing your rave!

Amanda - I didn't like pulling it over my head either - especially in the early days when I was really sore.

The thing I like about the original bravado and the body silk is that one bra fits several sizes.

Ah- that sucks. All the bras that I like in my size are like the full price... Maybe they will mark them down in a few days..... And no super hot deals on marathons either-boo.
