I was speaking with a woman the other day who wanted to talk about her sister and her nephew who is due in a few weeks.

She is sad because her sister and bil are planning on circing their baby and the kicker is it is because bil wants him circ'd to look like him. This is extra ridiculous because this bil is : that the new baby does NOT inherit his red hair. Yeah, that makes sense, he wants something that nobody sees to match, but not something that everybody does see :

There's something so odd about wanting your child's genitals to match yours, I really don't get it. And cut or not they still most likely will not look the same and by the time you could even compare that I can't imagine a dad and son doing so.

What in the H*** do guys with genital piercings do (for example, a Prince Albert) when THEIR son (s) lack the same type of "look" he CHOSE to do to himself??? I've always wanted that question answered to me by someone who is circumcised and pierced and wants his son to "match".

Interesting point. I've had a partner that was intact and had several genital piercings. He wouldn't even let his teenaged son get an ear piercing. (His boys were intact). In general it seems that people that are heavily pierced are more respectful of bodies and the owner's right to choose what they want to do to themselves. Either that or I just have a very awesome and respectful group of "freaky" friends.
