I want to make rejuvelac like Ann Wigmore does, and she says to use the wheat 2 time. I have looked all over the internet and find so many conflicting recipies. Prehaps the right one is in Ann Wigmore actual book. Anyone have a copy? Or know how to make it the right way?

I have a couple of Ann Wigmore books, and even she did it differently in both. I think it was just experitmental. Do you have NT? I think that those instructions are the best to follow.

This is the NT recipe I have says

2 cups organic soft spring wheat berries
filtered water

put the berries in 2 quart jarfill with water and cover the top with cheesecloth. Soak at room temp for 8-10 hours, drain through the cheescloth rinse and drain again.

Place jar at an angle and leave for 2 days rinsing 2-3 times a day while the berries sprout. After 2 days rinse thoroughly and fill with water. Soak 48 hours. Pour off the rejuvelac and store in the fridge.Remove any white foam off with a spoon.

It says a second batch can be made by filling the jar and soaking for 24 hours and a third batch by filling and soaking for another 24 hours then you will need to start over.

How different are the Wigmore ones from the NT version?

Yes, that is how I have done it...by sprouting it first. Some instructions don't have you sprout it first-it doesn't make sense to me to do it that way. I can't remember exactly in AW's books. I think her later ones say to sprout first, and an earlier one doesn't sprout first?

I remember my grandma making it without sprouting it, and she learned it that way from ann wigmore. My grandma went to Anns center and came back and her cancer was cured. She only uses it the way unsprouted, but everything I find says to sprout. But why did Ann change it I wonder?
