I have a recipe that calls for spinach. I'm out of spinach-used it all, and the next batch isn't ready.
For the first time, I planted swiss chard, and it looks gorgeous (it's the multi-color kind). Anyway, can I sub the chard for the spinach? I know nothing about swiss chard-guess it's time for me to learn.

BTW, in this recipe I wilt the spinach.

Good to know. Thanks. I'll try it tomorrow. I did not know that people in CO use Swiss Chard. I'm from Western NE, with a very similar climate to Northern CO, and we grew spinach. But hey, you learn something new everyday. Thanks again!

Actually, I'll probably use swiss chard a lot. It seems to grow a lot easier here than spinach.
