Okay, so I've researched the Vit. K shot and decided not to give it to my baby at birth unless it's a traumatic birth (we aren't circ'ing and I'm not taking antibiotics). Instead, I'm trying to increase my Vit. K intake a bit and taking a Vit. K supplement.

I got to thinking... would taking the extra Vit. K increase the chance of blood clots in me? Never had one and no one in my family has but I'm curious?

Anyone? Maybe it's a silly question... but it did cross my mind.

It's unlikely. Here's a link to a brief summary of Vit K:

http://www.anyvitamins.com/vitamin-k-info.htm

Jaundice, flushing, and sweating are listed as side effects of toxicity, but you're only likely to get it if you take large doses of supplements of K3.
