I'm reaching the end of my two week wait and am going crazy. Since my period is due on Friday, I purchased some HPTs. The idea was that I would start testing tommorow. When I went to put out a test for the morning, I though "why wait." So, I gave it a try. Here is what happened the "comparison line" appeared, and then slowly (within minutes so I don't think it was an evaporation line) another faint line appeared.

So my question is, given that I am about 14 DPO ( but only in cycle day 24. I o'd early), do you think a faint line could be a postive.

Thanks in advance.
Is it pink? Did it show up within 10 minutes? Then it's a positive, CONGRATS!!! :

My first BFP (at 13dpo, two days after expecting my flow) the second line didn't show until about 2-3 minutes after the control. But it was there, and I most definitely am pregnant.

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. I was 14 dpo yesterday and took a test in the morning ( confirm test)...and there was a VERY faint line, so I tested again in the afternoon with a safeway brand and BFN. I tested again this morning with another safeway brand and there definately is a faint line. I'm going to my doctor tomorrow morning for a blood test! I beleive a line is a line...so congrats on your faint BFP.

In light of Geck's expereince, I am going to the doctor's tommorow to get a blood test. I have taken a HPT each day this week and the line was darker each time. Another reason for going in so early is that in Jan. I had an early MC (about 15 days after my period was due and 2 postive pregancy tests). I want to ask the midwife is she knows of any natural thing I can do to decrease the likelihood of another MC. (I'm 38 and feel my clock is ticking, plus I am in a relationship with a woman and we are using a known donor so we have to do a lot of planning each month.)

Anyway, if anyone knows of any natural things I can try, please let me know. Also keep me in your thoughts.

Thanks,
Zora ~ I am trying to be omptamistic.....so far so good! As for mc...I personally have never experienced one (my baby was born still at 37 weeks), so I don't really have any words of wisdom there...But I can wish you all the luck with this one. I hope everything works out for you.

Zora - acupuncture can help. Other than that, just be good to your body and tell the bean how much you want it to stick around!

Arwyn,
I'm taking a version of your advice. I was doing accupture. I stopped last month. I did six months of it (twice a week). I decide not to get the blood test yet, but wait awile and think and meditate on the baby and being pregnant. I will keep you posted.
Just wanted to keep you updated. Still no AF. I am going to go to the doctor after August 10. That way I've missed my period twice. Wish me luck!
