Pictures here The first three.
I won this off Ebay, and I love the colors and the wool, but unfortunately it is ill fitting.

The way the buttons are placed makes the leg holes tiny and the waist too big.
Is there any way to redesign it so that I can use it?

I am thinking if the buttons come off, and then maybe have the wings cross over the front and tie somehow
:

I appreciate any and all suggestions.

I'm thinking snappi, but you wouldn't want to use an actual snappi because that would snag the wool. But you could make a snappi sized piece out of three pieces of yarn, knot them on the underside of the soaker, push through the soaker to the "up" side, tie them together in the middle, then use the soaker as a pull up soaker.

I see exactly what you mean about the leg holes being tiny and the waist being too big. The problem is that the wings are too wide, and if you tied the wings you might have to fold them back to be able to get more room in the legs. Obviously, you have to tie the wings in a different position than the buttons allow for. That might be hard to do, but it's such a pretty soaker that it might be worth the effort. I do second the suggestion to contact the WAHM, though, and either way, be sure to leave feedback about the soaker's fit.

I'm curious where some WAHM's are getting their models for the CD products-- I've seen this before, the chicken leg, giant waist (shaped overall very much like a chicken) style, and I just don't recall ever seeing a babe like that.

But I use a neighbors baby and I send out testers to people that have bought from me before.... Plus I have made diapers and covers for 4 years so I kinda know by looking anymore what will work right and not.... When my youngest was in diapers he was my chief tester.

As for that soaker. I would email the seller and ask her what you should do. If she does not offer any suggestions I would be happy to look at it for you and see if maybe we could make it usable..

You guys rock!

I guess I am hesitant to contact the seller as it took over 2 weeks to get (off Ebay) and then she refunded half of my money the day she had sent it, knowing I suppose that it was a bad design.
I guess I'm thinking that if she had wanted to do something about it, she would have done it before sending it kwim?

Anyway
