I agree. I've stopped bothering to read such threads. I figure if I can do a Google search for information, I won't ask, so I expect the same of others. And since one can do a Google search restricted to MDC or search the forums directly, there's not really much reason to ask the same five questions over and over again.<br><br>
A sticky would help reduce the redundancy.

Did anyone pm a mod about this? When I wanted the sticky for the Holiday Helpers knitalong, that is what I did and we got a sticky within a day.

So long as we actually take the effort to spell out "to", and don't insult crocheters by lumping that craft under knitting, then I'm all for it.

How about a 'learning fiber arts' sticky? We can list resources for knitters, crocheters, spinners, needle felters, etc all together. Or would that be too much? I know 'how do I learn to...' questions aren't limited to knitting on this forum.
