So, I read all of the most recent confession thread today and was just absolutely titillated by some of the confessions. (and you know who you are!

Here are mine:

1) I made an appt for the saturday after next to get diet pills.:

2) I eat like absolute crap. Hardly any fruits or veggies at all. Mostly chocolate. (which is probably why I need the diet pills! : )

3) Geeze, there are so many more,.....you first.

I drink entirely too much Mountain Dew. Like, I am probably keeping pepsico in business with my addiction. I don't drink anything else, and I go through too much to mention.

The Sugar Addict's Total Recovery Program is sitting on my desk, and I have absolutely no reason for not reading it aside from an avoidance of self-control :

I LOVE red wine... And it's all I can do not to become an alcoholic.

I spent way too much money on plants for my yard this week and my dh would be very angry if he knew how much since we are BROKE (as always).

I am excited that my MIL is coming to get my dd today to go strawberry picking because I want strawberry pie ... HOWEVER, I secretly hope she doesn't keep her too long because my dd is also my salvation and a HUGE help with entertaining ds on the weekends.

I need to wash my hair but I am probably going to just put it into a pony tail and work in the yard instead.

I probably won't take a shower for the same reason as above... And, yes, I will be stinky!

I ate *most* of my kid's easter candy. I should read that sugar addiction book but honestly I don't even want it near me or I'd then start feeling bad that I haven't read it!

--I drink Pepsi every day. Several cans. I tried to stop but the addiction ended up getting worse instead.

--I don't like plain water so I drink Propel.

--I don't eat anywhere NEAR enough fruits and veggies.

--I stopped taking my mood stabilizer because it was making me hungry and therefore fatter around my midsection.

--I'll probably have my IUD removed because it's increasing my appetite and causing minor weight gain. Of course pregnancy does the same thing...maybe I'll keep it.

--I haven't washed my hair in 3 days because I don't want my blue to fade. I look pretty greasy and will probably wash it later today.

--I can't operate a sewing machine. DH has shown me several times and I just can't do it.

--If DH is home when DD1 (2 years) poops in her diaper, I hide until he changes her. We need to get a diaper sprayer so I wouldn't mind the poopy cloth diapers so much.

--I do "homework" on the computer a lot so I don't have to do anything else. Homework is 15% actual homework, 85% screwing around on MDC or other sites.

I eat ice cream DAILY.

Instead of strapping DD into our Mei Tai for naps and doing housework, I sit with her on the couch on MDC and let DH do stuff after work. We also have a weekly cleaning service, so he's just doing the daily maintenance.

2 glasses of red wine last night and I have a hangover today.

So, I'm sitting here on the couch drinking a Coke and surfing MDC while DH cooks me breakfast.

The rest of last night can't be discussed on MDC or it would get the thread shut down.

1. I've been going on consults to have a boob job done.

2. If I cannot get the lift done with minimal scarring I will either have a tummy tuck or laser therapy for cellulite.

3. I color my hair and spend $75 bucks a pop to do it every 3-4 months.

4. I go tanning. And I've had skin cancer removed from my back.

5. I have acrylic nails AND toes.

6. I get pedicures every two weeks.

7. Despite all my attempts to be "pretty" I spend most days in my bathrobe or sweats and a tye dye shirt.

8. I have a lousy temper and there are people I truly hate and would not save if I came upon them and they were dying.

9. I still blame myself for my daughter's suicide.

10. I blame myself for my 18 year old's struggles even though she is calling her own shots.

11. I feel incredible guilt for having 8 kids when I have bipolar. I didn't know till after, but I still passed it to two kids so far.

12. I'm alternately ashamed at myself for being superficial about my looks as well as how I so easily take on the guilt and blame for everything bad that happens.

13. I love my husband and kids but sometimes I wish I was alone. I think it would hurt less that way.

- If we have money left over after our renos are done, I'm going for a consult for a boob job, tummy tuck and possibly some thigh lipo.

- If I pick up a chocolate bar for dh for his lunch, I buy two for myself. I've also been known to buy treats that dh likes too, 'cause then I don't have to feel guilty for eating crappy foods by myself.

- Quite often dh gets home from work to hear that I spent most of the day on the couch with ds.

Dh thinks this means that ds wanted to nurse a lot more than usual.

It actually means that I didn't feel like doing anything, so I sat in front of the 'puter all day (except when I was actually on the couch with ds).

- I hate the after-party cleanup, so I almost always buy paper plates and cups.

I ate 3 or 4 Entennman's Chocolate Fudge Cakes in 5 days. I can't remember exactly how many b/c...well, sugar kills brain cells.

After reading this, I went out and bought a box of Entenmann's Frosted Mini Donuts. I've had 4 thusfar, and it probably won't be long before I eat the whole box.

Oh honey, I've known about my bipolar disorder since I was a teenager and I've had 4 kids (3 living). I'm pretty sure I've passed it on to DS. It's not like being bipolar is all that bad, really. Admit it--you like the manic highs just as much as I do.

I do miss the highs. I'm on lithium so no more for me. I hate the blah's and emptiness at times.

What horrifies me is that in passing it on to my two girls, I gave one a death sentence. Her bipolar killed her. I may end up losing my 18 yo dd if I can't get her the help she needs or get her to stay on her meds.
