Okay I took a peice of brand new aplix, (both hook and loop) and closed them (as you would have them if they were boiled) and boiled them for 5 mins on a full boil (higest heat) there is no change in the aplix at all. I then opened it and boiled it for a few mins more, and again no change in the aplix at all. I would say it is safe to boil aplix. It didn't curl, it didn't deform, it didn't melt, it works just the same and looks great

I just want to mention, that if the diaper you are wanting to boil has woolly nylon in the serging, IT might melt. I do know that it melts when it's ironed
: ask me how I know LOL. Also, I'm not sure about the melting point of polyester fleece. Just a couple of things to consider when boiling stuff.

Thanks Marnie & Terri,
Just trying to get the stink out my overnight dipes. I boiled my hemp prefolds the other day - worked so far. The whole time my 2 yo ds kept asking "mumma, what you makin? macaroni?" - too funny.
