Love any input on business signature please. Thanks. I plan on adding links to the exact items when I get the pics up on my hyena. I am in hyper drive right now. Sooooo much to do.

I would shorten your personal info and increase the font on your biz info just a bit. Also, try to come up with a catchy tag-line for your biz that will make mommas want to click and see what you've got That also helps to cut down your words, which gives you more room for a larger or more interesting (and eye catching) font. Also, I'd pick one or two colors that match your biz site to use.

I think it's pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of the rainow text, since it seems to be pretty "done" on MDC.

I would suggest you make it special for MDC members. You do have a "Code MDC 5% off" which is good but something like "Special Offer for MDC Members" linked to a page on your site that uses similar text as the URL - http: //hyenacart.com/SewingAlley/mdc-special-offer.html would let MDCers know that the offer is exclusive and an it's own dang page! - they will take more interest.

Also, use a different signature for every forum you post at so that what you have at MDC is different than what you have at WAHMalley.com. for example.

I agree that the rainbow color look is overdone. Go for something a bit more classic. A single color but a different color for your business name link.

One final suggestion - change your signature text with some frequency. One big thing I've learned in advertising is that new ads get clicked on when they first make an appearance but then the clicks dwindle. Those who change their ads to freshen them with a new look or offer tend to get more clicks.

Hope that helps!

Thanks everyone. I tried to change the font but I thought I read that it cannot be bigger than two and its at two. Was I wrong on this? Will play with it more later. Kids are calling.

It can only be at size two, but you can bold the font or choose a different font, also.

Allison,

I would do it like this:

Allison, wife to Joe, SAHM to: Madeline 12/18/00 , Michael 3/22/03 , & Marah 4/7/06
Sewing Alley Grand Opening (12/7) Specials! I Spy Bags, Doll Slings & diapers, clothes, & more. Get 5% off with code:MDC

I like it the way it is.
Your business link stands out, it's clear what you offer, and readers have a sense of who you are from your personal line. Cute pictures by the way!

I think the 2 links you have are sort of confusing. You might want to cut out the email list one for now, or put it furter away from the link to your site.
