I'm looking for a sling that I can easily nurse my newborn in and have free hands at the same time. Somthing that is easy to use as well! Any recommendations? Thanks for your help!

I love my maya wrap but I think with any sling you still have to support baby with one hand. Still one hand free is better than none

Wrapping period is a learned art!

I was almost able to do it in a Zolowear ring sling, but DS hates having anything touching his head.

It's pretty easy for an older babe to do it in a mei tai.

I 2nd doing it in a Moby Wrap... just enough stretch for adjustment room. I'd spend a few days working on getting the wrap job right before I'd start nursing in it though!

Word of warning: larger chested mamas typically have a very hard time nursing in any kind of baby carrier. Hope you're little...

Oh, there's a Breastfeeding and Babywearing forum over at thebabywearer.com, with pics of BWing and BFing, in different kinds of carriers. Dig through there... those were REALLY helpful. There's also a good breastfeeding in a wrap video in "Choosing/using a wrap". Hope it's not a UA violation for me to refer you there

love my moby wrap! i put it on over the shoulder to nurse with babys head hanging out and my hand supporting his head...some of the other suggestions with a moby were to do a front cross carry and loosen it up enough to lower baby to nipple...i tried that and my boobies are pendulas? at best baby ended up hanging between my leggs

I nurse my DS in his Babyhawk Mei Tai all the time (headrest is important - it holds his head up while he nurses). Totally hands free.

I prefer MT's but could never nurse in them...and the only sling I could EVER nurse in was my Hotsling. Good luck finding one that works!

This woman is a single WAHM and I admire that. Her slings have no buckles, rings or any other devices that would have to be fooled around with. Wish I had one when my son was a newborn. There are also instructions on how to make them if you're sewing savvy. They're super easy to make.
http://www.mykarmababy.com/pages/BabySlingPattern.php
