I work prn as a rn on a labor/delivery unit. We see moms with extreme nausea/hyperemesis. One of the older docs (who's wife was a midwife) would order these pressure point wristbands with a little plastic bump on them. I have heard they market them for sea sickness on cruiseships and the like. The bump is positioned on the inside of the wrist centered 2 fingerbreadths above the joint. I guess it is a type of accupressure.
