On weekdays, he is always in a snappi'd prefold and cover. It's easy, adn since we are at another family's house all day, it's bestf for me to just have one system to go with there. At night, we use either a Fuzzi Bunz, or a solid colored Happy Heiny stuffed with one regular cpf and one microfleece towel.

On the weekends, when ds is more apt to be in just a dipe and t-shirt, we wear our cute HH's stuffed with either a cpf or a kicrfleece towel. I like to save my cute dipes for t-shirt/dipe days

:LOL...I wish even I knew what my system was!! I'm actually in frustrated mode b/c although I have a lot of variety and it all works for us, my son is actively potty training and I'm starting to wonder if all my switching up is hurting his progress, grrrr!

Anyway, for day use around the house, he's often in a cpf without cover or in a quick wrap like bummis sww, or Liz's cloth without cover, or even HH's stuffed with a hemp pf...these all make it easy for me to get them off him quickly and onto the potty, and they still catch pees that I miss. I've put him in undies and he does well INside the house with those, but if he's outside playing, he'll pee right on himself! For naps and overnight, I usually go with fitteds and a wool cover, and whatever doubling up I need for him. For outings, I like aio's and pocket diapers, but will use anything and everthing I own. Clear as mud, eh?

After trying almost everything under the sun, and other factors including not pooping at night, and over 1 yo w/more solid poops, we use:

FB w/jb or fleece hemp inserts from babynaturale. Size med FB still fit when stuffed w/infant (green stitching) prefold.

Bodinks fitted - when we "know" she will have a poop, w/Rikki covers or Bummis sww.

I do not like getting poop on my covers, and have never been able to get a good enough fit w/profolds to avoid that.

During the day at home we use CPF and pull on coves during the night i use snugwee day 2 night AIO's and if i leave the house i use kissaluv contours and wraps as they are easy to pack... if DH is doing the changing he can snappi a prefold but will likely grab a mudpie AIO.......... very easy system........

We use Liz's Cloth hemp fitteds with fleece topped doublers for daytime. For nighttime we use pocket fitteds from Darling Diapers stuffed with joeybunz and various other hemp doublers.

For covers, we're still experimenting. Wool for nighttime and at home, PUL/nylon covers for out and about.

Wool--Toot Sweet, LTK soaker, and one embroidered from 7th Heaven Babies on the way. I'm also learning how to knit and going to make a soaker from the LTK pattern.

Nylon cover-- $2 BRU pull-ons

PUL covers (for cuteness!)-- WAHM side snap with cute outer fabrics. We have one from Hunnybuns, one from Sugarbums, and one coming from Country Cuttins.

Well, I'm fairly new to cd'ing but my system so far consists mostly of AIO's. They are more expensive, but the ones I buy aren't really bad ($13- 15 each I think) I also have a few fitteds with polar fleece covers and some bummi whisper wraps.

I like to use a fitted with a fleece cover at night for breathability and AIO's during the day. I use the bummi wraps as backup covers for daytime (with prefold or fitted, but I don't have many of these right now)

We use mainly prefolds with a variety of covers: wool, bummis siww, airflows, or alexis pullons

We also throw a coupla fitted in there for cuteness' sake.

Usually hemp/wool combo or fuzzibunz stuffed with hemp for night.

I work 3 days a week and Zane goes to daycare. So for daycare I send HH stuffed with a premium cpf or Little Lambs. At home I usually use cpf's with my bummis snap cover - I love that cover!!

Of course if we go out I use the cutest dipes I have!! LOL

All prefolds with wraps here. I usually snappi the prefolds (to contain poop better), but dd goes to daycare part-time and they are totally befuddled by the snappi. Therefore, they just trifold the CPF and poop usually does get on the cover. Ah well...

Because my covers have to accomodate trifolded CPFs, they have to be front snapping or aplix. I prefer wool, but I also have a few PUL covers (which are nice because they are trimmer).

I use a pull-on wool cover at night.

We use a lot of different things. While at home, I usually put ds in a cpf, or a hemp fitted. DH uses HH or an AIO. When going out, I usually use an AIO or a pocket dipe. At night, I put ds in a hemp fitted w/extra doublers and a wool cover.

Right now we use fitteds (mainly Cloud 9 Softies or fireflies) under a wool cover (sugarpeas or fuzbomb) or alexis featherlite cover. We need to adjust our system though as Ellie has recently outgrown her small firefly dipes and may outgrow the softies soon.

my system is pocket dipes (FB and Wonderoos) and CPFs w/ Rikki wrap and a Bummis wrap. I also have a kissaluv and 2 SP that I use w/o a cover most of the time I use JB and SMJAE inserts in the pockets, and they are just as trim as sposies. I think they get really clean in the wash b/c of the two seprate parts. I line dry the dipes, and put the stuffers in the dryer.

I think this is the quickest and easiest for me. I like to wash every other day at the most. Sometimes I even do them every day. I think 18 pockets and about 30 stuffers would be enough to do full time w/ an older baby. You could also get a dozen PFs to fill in while you are doing wash

During the day while we are home, its ubcpfs with a snappi, no cover. We just change often. He is 18 months so his poop is more solid and we dont experience blowouts.
For going out, I usually pack bumkins aios and fbs stuffed with jbs. i also have a show-off aio from fmbg.
For naps, I use snappi'd cpfs (or cuddlebuns if he's squirmy) and a sugarpeas windpro cover.
For night, I use fbs stuffed with ubcpfs.

Its pretty simple. I do have a few fitteds for dh to use or when ds is being really squirmy.

We use Sugarpeas fitted almost exclusively now with a wool cover over it. This works best for us, so I am selling everything else. For the 1st 4 months of CD I wanted to try everything under the sun, but now I want simplicity and this system works for us.
Occasionally we will use a cute AIO, but that isn't often.
Oh, and disposables for nighttime .

After trying just about everything, we are transitioning to Fuzzi Bunz (stuffed w/Joey Bunz or a prefold or a wayward doubler, or whatever we can find really) during the day. They are trim and easy to use. At night we are using FBs, HHs, or FancyPants Windpro pockets (stuffed w/2 prefolds or a prefold and a Samuel's Soaker).

I am keeping about a dozen fitteds and several covers, though. Favorite fitteds: Ivy Rose, Aunt B's, SOS, Samuel's, Darling Diapers, Lucy's Hope Chest (now you see why I have to keep some!).

What I use and what I want to use are different things. lol
What I liked at one time is different than what I like today. It changes as the baby grows and as I try different things and tire of certain aspects of certain things.

I will tell you what sounds ideal to me right NOW.

Mostly prefolds with snappis.

Some nice soft wraps such as Bumpy Day covers
(I use mostly Rikki wraps and Air Flows, which are great, but would prefer a wrap with better closures than the Rikki. I have yet to try the Bumpy Day, but it sounds like something I'd like.)

Some pocket diapers like Happy Heiny's. Enough to do part-time (for wiggly toddlers that need a fast change and for easier handling of those peanut buttery poops) and at night.

I have tried sooo many things. I was going to go all wool and fitteds at one time! lol And I really think most mamas here really prefer that system the most. Part of it, I think, is that most mamas here put high priority on frequent changes, natural products, breathability, and fun diapers. You really have to try different things to know what suits you best, though and consider what you value most. I've found that my priorities are convenience, performance, and cost, so my diapering choices refelct those priorities more.

I tried a lot, and settled on:

Daytime at Home
Prefolds, Snappi, wool or no cover
I do use fleece liners, though. Not for the wicking (I change when wet) but for the easy poo clean up!

Daytime Out
Hemp prefold or a hemp fitted (if I actually change while out) and a wool or Bummis pull on cover

Nighttime
Hemp fitted with several doublers (DH is in charge of the nighttime diaper- won't use prefolds) and a wool or fleece cover

Like Holly, I was heading in the direction of all fitteds, but once I got a full stash of them, I realized a CPF was much faster and easier! :
