I have a wicked flea problem that just will not go away. I know that diatomaceous earth works on fleas, but is it safe to use indoors? I'd like to try putting some on my carpets for a while. Thanks in advance
We used it indoors for ants this past spring but it was right near the front entrance and on ceramic floors, not carpets. It says safe for pets and such (and we have a cat) so you would think it would be okay. Could you maybe lay some down when you are planning to be out of the house for a while, even for a weekend and then vacuum it up when you get back?
Based on my understanding, yes, it can be used inside. It's harmless to humans & pets unless it's inhaled, so dusting it into the carpet should be fine.
