I really want to buy some cloth diapers online. This will be my first try at it. But, since I am in Canada, I want to compare prices with the American sites that I want to buy from, like naturalbabies.com with Canadian ones, to see the price difference. I can't find any Canadian sites.

Does anyone know of good Canadian sites selling diapers?

www.bareware.ca is in BC
www.borntolove.com is in Ontario
www.thebabymartketplace.com is in Alberta

Now, I added the provinces because it does matter for sales tax. For instance, I end up having to pay 14.5% tax on anything from Bareware, but I think it is well worth it. Excellent customer service!
Where in BC are you? I am just wondering, because there are stores that sell cd's locally. I might even be able to track down a shop near you.

excellant!! Thank you!

I live in a small town in northern bc. There are no big towns near us unfortunately. But we are moving to the Island in a month, so if you know of any down there, let me know

Hi! I'm from Canada (Alberta) also and these are some of my favorite sites:

www.withlovediapers.com (AIO's)
www.mypreciousbabybyapril.com (fitted and AIO's)

Both of the above are super affordable diapers and really well made. I have several from each woman and they have been such a pleasure to deal with.

www.sweetcheeksdiapers.com - I only have the fleece covers from Renee but they are great at stopping leaks. I found the fit a little off at first, but with a little practice I figured them out and now I love them! (this one is in BC somewhere)

www.bareware.ca - great for prefolds, covers - great to deal with.

Have fun shopping - I love cd'ing!!!!!

I also highly recommend joining the CDN cloth diapering lists on yahoo (many of the CDN WAHMs are members).

Also, keep in mind when you are comparing prices that for larger orders you will likely be dinged with quite large shipping charges (the flat rate charges are generally for orders within the US only) and often customs and duty charges.

Based on my experience now, if there is the same exact product (ie if I am looking for prefolds) on a Canadian site I am usually better off getting it there. Of course if its not widely available (ie Sugarpeas or Fuz or any other WAHM that I want to try things from beyond the Canadian ones) then I have to play customs roulette (though I generally keep my orders small to reduce the risk).

Oh and a couple of other sites that are Canadian:

www.extraordinarybabyshoppe.com
www.soulmother.com

Just thought I'd add
www.elbeebaby.com

Beautiful stuff, though a tad expensive for my budget. I've tried a bunch of different dipes but find that CPF's with Bummis work just great.
