I tried Bee's diet and felt AWFUL. I lost a ton of weight, had no energy and was depressed because I couldn't eat even a bit of fruit. It did nothing for my candida.

Then I switched to a high complex carb diet (whole grains, legumes, plenty of veggies even the high carb ones and even fruit) and my digestion immediately improved. I tried this on my own out of desperation and it helped alot. I got Dr. Crook's book after the fact, but it all made sense since I basically had come to his diet on my own. He does have excerpts from Doctors and patients that acknowledge that different things work for different people, some do well and low carb/no grain, others do poorly on that diet.

Ofcourse, for me after 1.5 yrs of battling and natural methods never fully getting rid of it I am on Nystatin and feel the most normal I have felt in over a year. But in general I found super restrictive diets are harmful, when we have immune problems like this we need all the nutrients we can get.
