Anyone else feel this way? Anything slightly exerting, especially if it involves me bending over, ends up with me having to sit down, with my arms over my head trying to take deep breaths. I feel like I can't get that little bit of extra oxygen I need.<br><br>
I hate this feeling. And I totally don't remember it with ds. Last time, it took 2 days to feel normal again. And today, being smart, I decided to put away half the laundry (umm, haven't put it away in 3 weeks.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/shy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="innocent">). Lots of bending.<br><br>
And now, I'm sitting on this chair trying to get air in. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked"> How in the world am I going to make it to 40 weeks without dragging around an oxygen tank????<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue"><br><br>

Is your iron low? How about your blood pressure? Either of those things being low can really mess you up...ask me how I know. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll"> It's an exhausting feeling. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/hug.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="hug">

My bp is okay. I might be a little low in iron, since I have a really mild form of thessalanemia, so it will always 'look' low. It just feels like I can't get a really good, deep breath in. Like I try expanding my lungs all the way and they go until that *last little but very important* space. I feel much better now though. Thanks for the hug. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
I just hate the invalid feeling, kwim? I mean yes, I did a bunch of folding and hanging and bending over and refolding thanks to my ds' help <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue">, but to be out of breath so soon? Grump grump grump. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"><br><br>

I'm not out of breath per se but I feel like I have trouble breathing. My upper belly is so hard already and I feel like my organs are all squished. I'm constantly putting my shoulders back trying to get a deep breath. And I fatigue very easily. I feel for you! I too am wondering how I'm going to make it to 40 weeks!

I'm having some out-of-breath-ness. I did with my first pregnancy, too. I just have a very short torso, so I get up towards the rib cage really quickly.

Me too! I have been skipping my supplements, so THAT does not help. Just took a vitamin... thanks for the reminder.

I already have this, too. Its going to be a long rest-of-the-pregnancy. I chalk some of it up to my severe reflux- when it is really flared up I can't seem to catch my breath. You can have it and not have any apparent symptoms (i.e. no heartburn). Shortness of breath was my first symptom of GERD.<br><br>
FYI, I always carry my babies REALLY low- no lung compression due to baby here.

I get really lightheaded, out of breath and my heart starts racing if I exert myself even a little. I'm on bedrest now so it's not much of an issue but it is horrible.
