So it's a good thing to make it to 39 weeks with twins measuring 7 lbs 11 oz. each.

It's a good thing that I can still get around and do stuff. Hey, I can even get up off the floor with my hands full of dirty diaper!

It's a good thing that my doctor just shrugs and says no reason to rush things if the babies and I are all doing fine. (That's why I hunted up this doctor!)

It's a good thing that Baby B had the last two weeks to turn head down, which makes me feel even more confident about delivery.

But still . . . . I WANT THESE BABIES OUT, NOW!!!! :

My doula suggested going to the zoo--something about the animal hormones--we tried a little farm trip instead, but it doesn't seem to have helped. At least my big kids had a good time.

Hey you can always complain about pregnancy -- I can't imagine being 39w pregnant in the summer is fun!

But, as a mom of twins born at 34w, you're doing SO AWESOME! :

Those last two weeks with my twins were ENDLESS. I couldn't sleep, so I spent hours looking up "natural induction methods" on the Internet! But seriously, you're almost there, and you're doing great!

Thanks for the encouragement everybody--I'm really not feeling that bad (considering!) but it's hard to remember that if I were going with most doctors' protocols I would already have my babies. (And, as DH reminds me, be in the hospital barely able to walk with maybe a spinal headache to round things out. Yay.) I just keep hoping this increasing crankiness and impatience is a good sign of impending labor.

Wow, 39 weeks is awesome!!!!! I'm sure you're ready to have those babies out right now, especially when it's so hot. Hang in there
