Hi all. Well I have had my 5 month old DD sleeping in her crib in the same room with me since she was born. Actually at first she was sleeping in her bouncy seat quite a bit, then I got her used to her crib. Anyway, she had been sleeping great in her crib for months, no problems at all.. But then she got sick and was very congested so I had her in her bouncy seat to sleep for about a week, so that she wouldnt choke on her mucus... Anyway, now she is over the cold and I am putting her back in her crib but she just wont sleep in it now! I will put her in there to sleep, and she will sleep maybe a 1/2 hour to an hour, then wakes up. I feed her again in bed and then put her down again and she will just wake up as soon as I put her in the crib.. So then I end up putting her in her bouncy seat and she goes right to sleep... But I dont want her sleeping in there every night. I dont think its good for her.. So does anyone have any suggestions on how to get her to sleep in her crib? I really want to get her sleeping in it again like she was. I dont really want her to be in the bed with me because I feel like we need our own space and am more comfortable with her in her crib... I appreciate any suggestions!!
