I just received notification of my CAPPA certification 2 days ago I was very pleased with my education experience. I had originally registered with ICEA to achieve certification as all educators in my area are certified through them. After quite a few ups and downs (many more downs than ups) from them, I opted to find another organization to receive certification. I am an RN and have been teaching for 2 years now, but needed the actual paperwork in order to have the state reimburse me for some of the clients I work with. Up until I get the paperwork done, I teach them for free.

I was fortunate enough to be able to do their accelerated program, and found a workshop a few hours from home, so my family and I had a mini vacation while I finished the workshop criteria, and now I am so grateful to have it all completed. If I can be of any assistance just let me know.

Good luck to you
I'm in the middle of my CLE training with CAPPA and love it. I also find the emails (there is a yahoo group for CAPPA members) I receive are great and the support truly wonderful. They even phone for upcoming conferences etc.
Wow! Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but my computer has been on the fritz.

I'm so glad you both had such positive experiences with CAPPA. I'm hoping for the same. Right now, it's all I can do just to get time to study.
