Anyone want to get their car seats checked by a team of technicians?
Here's our blurb posted for those who might be interested:
Many Canadian children are not properly restrained in vehicles.
In a crash, the correct use of car restraint systems reduces the risk of injury by 70%.
A clinic, organized by Child Safety Link, IWK Health Centre, will take place at the Bedford Fire Station, Sunday February 7 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
This car seat clinic is being organized to raise funds to help with the relief effort in Haiti. The money will be donated to St. John Ambulance as they have a development program in Haiti.
Parents seeking a car seat appointment can register by calling Kim Mundle at 470-7324.
You can also just drop by, but there might be a wait...
