I seem to have such a hard time focusing on a career path. I have struggled with this for years! I have many interests, but also have many requirements in a career. Ideally I'd love to stay at home with our children forever, and even have one more <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> But would also like additional income for our family, doing fulfilling work. Could you offer guidance on what my higher career path is?<br><br>

I think you are struggling because you are on your perfect career path. Wanting outside work feels more like outside expectations to me. Like maybe your partners or family. People making you feel like you should work at some point, so figure it out.<br>
Although I do think you have interests, I feel that none of them are taking a firm shape for you because they are not meant to be as a career.<br>
I think your children are lucky to have you home with them and it's a beautiful thing. I see you with four children total.<br>
One more thing, I do see you crafting. Not necessarily as a career, but something you enjoy doing.<br><br><span style="color:#008000;"><br>
