I Have a babyhawk and I desperately need to clean it. I have black straps that have been dragged on the ground one too many times
Can I wash it in the washing machine? If so, do I dry it in the dryer or do I have to line-dry it. I wanted to do it before I go out tomorrow, so I'm really hoping I can dry it on low...

I couldn't find the information on their site and figured this is the fastest way to get a response about it.

Thanks!

There are washing instructions on the site but I couldn't tell you where.

Wash it in the machine like you would wash your favorite pants. mine has a "gentle/casual" setting with warm water. BH recommends line drying to preserve the colors. I have machine dried mine and had no problems, after many washes the black straps will fade (as all black cotton does). Use the same detergent you wash dc's clothes in. (there was a thread here once upon a time where the mom had used a new detergent on her BH and her ds got a rash on his face from chewing on the straps)

If you find your straps get twisty in the wash use a large lingerie bag or a pillowcase.

Good luck.

Depending on the colors, you might consider putting a "dye-catcher" sheet in the wash with it in case the colors run.

I machine wash on cold, by itself (in case it runs), and then hang to dry.
