With ds I carried really high. I remember that right from the beginning, I started getting bigger everywhere from my bra line down. This time, I am carrying soooo much lower. It's so strange to look at my little baby belly- it's so different than what I was used to seeing when I was pregnant with ds. I took pictures from 3 months on with ds with my film camera (although we did get a digital when I was 8 months) and I have yet to develop the film! I need to stop procrastinating because I really want to look back and compare how I looked when this far along with ds.

The funny thing is that they say that if you are carrying high it's a girl, and low it's a boy. Well I was carrying high with ds, and low this time and we really think it's a girl (we'll know in a couple of weeks).

I've always heard that, too. High - girl, low - boy. My MIL just yesterday was saying, "Aren't you carrying this one lower?" LOL. She wants a boy. We already have two girls and most people think we were trying for a boy. Nope. We'd be tickled with another girl. Either way, we really want a healthy baby.

It's funny how those of us yet to find out the sex are having fun with these old wives' tales, superstitions, etc. I'm carrying this one just like I carried my girls, same amount of sickness, same food cravings. The only difference is that I'm not losing as much weight as I did with my first two. With my first, I lost until the third trimester. With number 2, until about 18 weeks, but found out I had gestational diabetes, so lost more after that test. I guess we'll see next week!!!
