I am just curious as to whether carrying twins could affect the blood pressure of mama as early as 9 weeks or if that's just later in pregnancy?

Well, my first appt was at 8 weeks and my bp was actually lower than it had been... but I don't know if it could have an effect or not.

I'd read it can raise the BP of the mama, not lower it. But I wonder if that could be happening really early or only later.

Hmmm... all I know is that esp if the twins have separate placentas, you have double the risk for getting PIH. But I'm not sure if at that early it would be tagged chronic hypertension instead... ???

Guess I wasn't much help! Sorry!
