I've had Candy at Pampered Pet Sitting look after my cat. I'm not sure how "affordable" she would be--i think it was around $10 a visit (she comes to your home)...For us, it was good to have someone looking in on the house, watering plants, etc. she has a website, which i think is pamperedpetsit.net.
