We have a 8 week old kitten whom I bathed and now she has the sniffles/sneezing/runny eyes. I don't have the money to take her to the vet until next paycheck (two weeks) is there anything I can do to help her be more comfy? Or should I borrow the money and just take her?

ALSO, my oldest (four) woke up this morning with a stiff neck and no other complaints someone has mentions cat stratch fever?! Any ideas on if that's what this might be? Should I take her to the dr?

i don't know what to do about the kitten but i hope it feels better soon

i knew someone who got cat scratch fever i know very little about it but i think you have to get a fairly bad scratch to get it and it is caused by bacteria in the cats claws. i think she had a fever when she had it but i don't remember
bump?
Is your kitty still eating/playing/acting happy? If so, I would wait, but keep close watch of kitty to see any signs. You could also steam kitty (like you would a child with croup) to help clear the passages.

No advice on your dd, sorry.

HTH!
