Over a year ago I had an ongoing yeast problem and we used gentian violet on and off for a few months. DDs teeth were horribly stained which was most evident for a day or two after treatment, then it would fade, but slight stains remained on the front surface of her front 2 teeth. I've noticed recently that these seem to be darker. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this? I imagine the reason they stained on that spot initially is that the enamel was maybe a bit worn away ??? but now am thinking perhaps they've turned to cavities. I need to find a dentist, but wanted to check here for insight too.
