Do you have any problems at nighttime with them soaking through their jammies or anything? I have sposies left from the case we bought shortly before we switched to cloth and I'm using them till they run out (only at night). I'm getting close to running out, but I'm not going to buy any more. So, what do you use to ensure they don't soak through and wake up wet and cold?

I use FB with a HH hemp doubler (the ones that are gender specific) and if my FB are dirty, I use a HH with the same insert. Never had a leak, not once!

On ds we use a Happy Heinys with a variety of inserts - any 2 of: puddlepadz, premium cpf, duckybuns, walmart microfiber towels, smjae inserts. Dd is also usually in a HH, or else one of our heavier hemp fitteds (usually a Darling Diaper) with a sugarpeas wool cover! No leaks with any of these!

On both boys I use either a snapdragons fitted with a doubler and fleece liner. On the baby I use a pull on nylon pant from BRU (he is allergic to wool). On my older son, I use a wool soaker. NO LEAKS

We use a Fuzzi Bunz or Happy Heiny with either 3 joeys or a Froggy Fleecer (Hemp prefold). She can soak the joeys, but the fleecer usually still has dry areas in the morning. Not a leak since we've been using them (about 6 months).

Anything Hemp with anything wool works well for us-I usually stuff a hemp doubler in as well, just in case, and I make sure their jammies aren't too tight so as not to have compression seepage.

I usually use a large colored firefly with a medium "faux" joey bunz inside it under a wool cover. I also usually change once a night when DD wakes to nurse, but that combo looks like it would last her all night since the dipe is usually only half wet when I change her.

I ditto the hemp/wool combo. Wool is so awesome for preventing leaks, and it's breatheable so your baby doesn't get all hot and sweaty in the diaper area. I use a Liz's Cloth hemp fitted, and add a fleece topped hemp doubler. For a cover, I use an Aristocrats or a Liz's Cloth wool cover, sometimes a deluxe Stacinator fleece. No leaks EVER!!

For my 2 year old I use a Happy Heiny stuffed with 2 hemp fleece prefolds - no leaks ever. For my 6 week old I use a Liz's Cloth Hemp fitted with a hemp doubler covered with an aristocrat. The hemp/wool combo is great.

My baby ALWAYS had leaks with the "best" Pampers. We switched to cloth and NEVER again.
He wears: 1 UBCPFS + Hemp folded into 6 layers + Fleece liner + Dappi Pull on nylon pants

In the morning it feels damp, but my baby is dry. Once I even forgot to put a doubler in the diaper and in the morning the diaper was soaked, but the bed and PJs were dry

My son wears a fitted diaper under an Aristocrats soaker. Finally buying that soaker was the BEST diapering decision I've made - he hasn't leaked overnight since we got it and seems to be comfortable in the morning even if he's soaking (never too warm, never cold). My son is a medium-wetter so just about any diaper does it - he wears the same kinds of fitteds as during the day, we just like the Aristocrats soaker for night-time, when bulk doesn't matter quite as much but comfort matters a lot.

I'll preface this saying that my son is not a heavy wetter. His night-time diaper is a size 2 Liz's cloth hemp fitted, with a hemp prefold(folded in thirds inside the fitted) the doubler that comes with the Liz's cloth, and a fleece liner. I use a proraps cover over this. It is a bit bulky, but we haven't had a leak yet(some wicking, but no leaks)

We have never had a leak with a Fuzzi Bunz (tightly snapped) and either 2 Joeybunz or 2 microfiber towels from Wal*mart, or one each as inserts.

Good luck!

They all have great suggestions, I just want to add, don't expect your daytime diaper to work for night time. Meaning, you will most likely need an added layer in the diaper. If you use a pocket and use 1 insert then you will need 2 or 3, if you use a CPF and cover you will most likely need a doubler of some sort in there. Because the kids are sleepong longer at night, the diaper needs to go a longer amount of time, you need to take that into consideration.

That being said there are some wonderful systems out there. It is just a matter of finding what works best for your baby

After lots of experimentation to find what works for our super heavy wetter (FB and HH don't!), we use a Mom-and-me-creations samuel's woolly dream wrapped around 4 JoeyBunz and a microfleece liner. Awesome system! I've also heard that Windpro pocket dipes work well for some people.
