Well, I'm pg with my 3rd and my milk is gone. I've been talking with my dd2 about this for a few weeks, since my supply dramatically dropped and then yesterday morning, nothing. In addition, I made the decision to not let her just suck on me for pacifying. To me that's not really breastfeeding, it's well, it's something else. So, I told her yesterday afternoon, "I'm sorry honey, but there are no more milkies". How we both cried! But, after 24 hours, she has actually accepted it and didn't ask for milkies tonight at bedtime. Last night she asked papa to rock her to sleep and tonight she let me hold her for a few minutes and then asked to lay down and went to sleep after about 10 minutes.

I've loved nursing her. I hope she can remember some of the moments we've had and I hope that she keeps "nursing" her own dollies and friends.
