I am loving <a href="http://www.knitscene.com/photos/2006/project13.asp" target="_blank">this pattern</a>!!! I am making one now in Peace Fleece, though I will probably make another in a softer fiber (alpaca, maybe) after this. It is knitting up pretty quickly, too.<br><br>
Anyone have one they want to share?? I would love to see others. I have visited the KAL's and I couldn't seem to find one in Peace Fleece...

Monica,<br>
It's from Knitscene Fall, 2006 (special issue from Interweave Knits). It's a great pattern, totally simple. Worht the money if you can <a href="http://www.knitscene.com/2006/inside.asp" target="_blank">order back issues</a>...

I just ordered that back issue. About 12.00 with shipping, but well worth it, I think. There are so many great patterns in it! I love the wrap sweater on the cover.

Yes! Well worth it...I am actually borrowing it (and plan to copy a couple patterns<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/bag.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Bag">: ). The hoodie is by far my favorite cardi ever! It can be sized up for a more jacket-like fit, too.<br><br>
I was worried about the stitch def. with Peace Fleece, but it is coming out great! Can't wait to block it...though I only have the back done...

Actually it's got the option for buttons. But, the pattern has it as an open front. I bet you could attacha zipper, too--though I would definitely size up for that--it's a snug fit.

Check the <a href="http://www.xanga.com/MamaZknitZ" target="_blank">blog</a> for my progress...and can anyone recommend to me a way to avoid that loose post cable knit stitch??

I have experienced that too, but when I looked at the blanket I cabled, I noticed that after a wash or two it's evened out. I would guess that blocking would help. If it really bugs you, you could try being super careful when you pull on the stitches to manouver (sp?) and knit them.

on my blog! I am shrinking<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"> , so by the time it is all done (about 4 inches total of a button band nad the rest of the hood) it will be perfecto!!<br><br>
C'mon....you know you will need this sweater by the fall....

I love your CPH!!! I started one oh, 2-3 months ago, in a beautiful royal blue tweed yarn from Ireland that I bought on ebay. I seem to have gotten seriously sidetracked by about 5 other projects, and I haven't been inspired to work on again until now. Hard to knit wool sweaters, tho' when it's 75 deg out!

That is SO cute! I may have to knit that instead of the vanilla spice cardigan on Knitty. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/innocent.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="shy">
