Are y'all getting that? It's totally normal, right? Not pain, but just that sensation of a little pressure or weight on the cervix from the baby's head? It feels reaalllly weird. I've noticed it's more intense when I'm moving around a lot or on my feet for too long.
Oh, and I've just been informed that "with the way your belly is dropping, you won't last two weeks" before delivering the baby. I'll have to let my midwife know about that, I'm sure she'd be interested.
I think I'm cranky. I know I'm tired. Stupid insomnia.

I get a ton of cervical pressure, which makes me all excited, and then whoosh, it's gone. My MW told me yesterday that for second(third, fourth, etc) time mom's, baby does not stay engaged like they will for first time moms. So baby gets down there, starts pushing on the cervix, starts some contractions, and can bobble back up into floating. Come on kid!

I have the same thing as well, although sometimes it is really painful, when I stand up I have to let things settle before I even walk. I don't remember this with the first two! I keep thinking it means the baby will come soon, but I'm 39 weeks 3 days and no baby yet!

Yup, add me to the list, though ivymae, your comment on 2nd timers is interesting, as I've noticed I'll have this really intensely for a while and then it will seem to go away. So that would make sense.

yup yup, a few of us dropped very early and have been feeling this pressure for weeks. isn't it weird?

if you check out my "pressure has become ...pleasurable" post, you'll see that it's not always a bad thing!:

I get it too, but only sporadically. A couple days ago it was while walking--I had to slow down to a crawl! Yesterday it was while driving. Doesn't feel good, but I imagine this little bean trying to pry things open for a little peek to decide if s/he's ready to come out or not, then it's okay and kinda funny. We'll see how long that lasts, though!

Yeah I'm rockin the cervical pressure too. Sometimes if she presses her head on the right nerve in my cervix, it causes this stabbing vaginal pain.

Me too! You mean that pain that causes me to stop, wince and yelp out loud, suck in my breath sharply and tell my little bean to stop that (nicely, of course !
