I have an uber posterior cervix. Baby is so so low right now that the couple times I have been checked they almost gave up before they could snag it, because it was so far back behind the baby's head. I am a total self-cervix checker (or attempt to) at this point. Normally I can get to the very underside edge of it which clues me in on effacement but not dialation.

Anyway, I checked early this morning and although baby's head is less than a finger length inside, my cervix was no where to be found. After some weird feelings and cramping this morning, I just went to check again, and nearly yanked my hand back like I touched a stove. My cervix has swooped around and is right under her head. Like a couple inches right the inside. Is that a good sign, or a fluke and it will suddenly flop inches back behind her head again? The crazy pregnant in me wants to start walking miles now that she is positioned right over the top, lol.
