well ladies i am looking for a little help here. I am due Nov. 5th. this will be my 3rd child. But a 5 year break since the last one so maybe I don't really remember right. With my first of course I didn't need maternity pants til 6 mos. The second 4-5 months. Well at like 5 weeks I wasn't showing but around the button of my pants I was starting to feel pretty uncomfortable so I went on ebay and ordered the belly band things thinking this is how it is after a few kids, and being a little more fluffy. I have gained 2 lbs, but like I said I am bigger to start off with and gained 15lbs with the both kiddos before. Well anyway, this last weekend I realized I could wear the same jeans and other pants I needed the belly band with, totally buttoned, zipped without any uncomfortable- ness. Is this normal and I just forgot from before.....or?

This is my first pregnancy, so my experience is limited. I am due Nov 4th though

What I noticed, was that during the first couple weeks my bloating and constipation was so bad, that I was really swollen and had problems buttoning pant. Now, that Ihave a handle on my bloating and constipation, I don't show at all. Plus due to m/s I am still loosing weight and all my cloths look a size too big right now.

I personally blame a lot on my bloating and some on the weight loss.

4th baby here, due 11/6.

yup perfectly normal. for my 3rd I was in maternity by 11 weeks. this time I've been able to stay in my reg jeans but mainly b/c they sit lower on the waist than the jeans I had before #3.

Probably bloating. I don't look very pregnant (9 wks w/ my second) in the morning, but by evening I have quite a noticeable belly. Most of my low rise pants still fit buttoned, but i still wear the bella band so I can unbutton them later in the day if I need to. My work pants sit high on my waist though and even in the morning I can't get them zipped up.

Probably the bloating and your weight going down. I've noticed I'm less bloated now than I was a month or two ago.

I was much bigger at 8 weeks than I am now (12 wks). My OB said that your intestines swell up a little bit, and while it isn't that much, when you think about how many feet of intestines you have inside you, it is going to add up. I freaked out too, but he assured me that it was totally normal. This is the only pregnancy I've experienced this with.
