I was changing my sons diaper and he um, got excited

Does it hurt him when I put the new diaper on to put mr. happy facing down when it is hard? It seemed somewhat hard to "fold"

the little dude is running naked till he calms down. Good news is that we know the foreskin retracts fine

I don't think it hurts.

When Nathan stands at attention and I am changing is diaper (usually after a poop because I've wiped him extra and things have responded) he usually stops moving around so much and just becomes quiet occasionally putting his hand down there but not usually. Freaks me out a little, I know it shouldn't but it does! lol We've never had the foreskin retract and I think I'd have to go get Dan if it did because that just seems too manly for me to handle out of my baby boy! lol

I usually wait a couple more seconds and then put on the diaper, I'll gently push it down but not push hard. No leaks so far as a result. I tried to call my husband to ask him if it hurts when pushed down but he didn't answer the phone! Darn!!

thanks! I had never seen the foreskin retract either, I mean this was a manly hard on not just a little stiffy as I've seen before (usually when doing the extra wipes... lol are we gonna tell our boys that fancy velour wipes used to turn them on???) It didnt fully retract, at least half way.

Dh usually cringes when he sees wesley grab at himself. I've been told that if they dont cry, then it doesnt hurt. Not to sound stupid but I didnt want to kink the hose by bending it down while it so wanted to stand up!

sooo, um... do I put that in the baby book? :

I too know this shouldnt bother me but it sort of does. I cannot believe how BIG it gets

Maxi's foreskin has been retracted since birth -- it was just naturally like that so that part never worries me but GEEZ OH MAN! the standing at attention is just sort of surprising!

I dont think it hurts though -- never seems to bother my boy.

It never seems to bother my boys. If it's really up there, I will wait a bit to put a new diaper on... Just seems like the thing to do. LOL

Oh, you are having a boy, how wonderful!! You won't be freaked out by it, you'll be happy his equipment works and you'll love each and every part of him. I laugh whenever DS stands at attention, and it just makes me happy to see such an innocent thing happening that is totally natural that he has no idea about!
