I'm working with DPNs for the first time. The pattern increases each row and the stitches are starting to get close to the ends of the DPNs. I'm going to switch over to Circs in a row or two. Is there anything special I need to know about changing needles? Do I just go ahead and start knitting with the Circular? Will I need to join again?: Sorry for the dumb questions, but I'm having a hard time visualizing this since I'm new to knitting in the round.

Just start knitting with the circulars. Once you get to the beginning of the round again, you may want to place a marker there to help you remember where it is. You can just use a scrap of yarn, or you can get little ring markers at craft shops/yarn stores.

Whatcha makin'?

Thanks jessikate!
I'm making knitty's french market bag. I'm working on the base right now. It's been a fun project so far, but I'm hoping I don't mess it up totally when I get to the handles. I'll probably be posting more questions when I get to that point. :LOL
