I have been having cramps that feel like a Charlie-horse in my lower abdomen, mostly on the left side. They usually happen when I am laying down & get worse when I am laying on my left side. The cramps are almost where you would feel ovulation pains & they literally make my breath catch. Once in a while it will happen when I am standing up, too. I am debating whether to call my midwife or not. I thought maybe a mama here would have some insight, TIA!

I wish I could help you but I don't know anything about it. This is my 1st time. I really hope everything is okay. Maybe it is those BH crontraxions (sp) that every one is talking about. Maybe you should call your MW just to be safe. It never hurts to call and ask.

Callie I had one of those yesterday. Freaked me out too. I think it was just a braxton hicks ctx. Lay low & call your midwife. Keep us updated.

Sounds like roung ligament pain to me. Very normal. But if you are concerned, you should call your MW for peace of mind.
