I've figured out that Charlie's is a pretty good bet, but in planning ahead, I'm trying to figure out all associated costs (both thought/work- and $$-wise) with cloth diapering (to be sure to get everyone on board with it!)

It seems the powder can do a lot with a little, and I'm finding descriptions of Charlie's so attractive, I want to start just using it now for all my wash! But I haven't heard specifics about the liquid, except it seems many here use it? Which is most cost-effective? Anything else to know about the two options?

Can you specify if you use Charlie's, if it's the powder or liquid form, and how that all is working out for ya?
: Thanks!

ETA: Whoohoo, that's my first posted poll ever, and it worked! Yay!

We use the powder on everything. I think the powder is less expensive b/c it's cheaper to ship (not as heavyh). That said, I really think it's a matter of preference since the detergent dissolves completely in so little water.

We use the liquid my DD is very sensitive to washing soda and while there is some in the liquid its far less. We still get rashes with the powdered unless I rinse like 5 times but not the liquid.

I have both. I tried liquid first cuz I'm a liquid detergent kinda person but then I bought some powder during a sale and that is what I'll use (buy) from now on as it is just easier to store and take with me when I go somewhere. I like both though.

I got the liquid. Everyone in this house has trouble with any powder detergents, whether it be laundry or stuff for the bath. So we stick with liquid just to be ont he safe side.

It doesn't say much about that on the website.
