I'm new to the CD scene and have been mostly doing prefolds or contours during the day and pockets at night. I'm trying to figure out the best way to stuff the pockets - the idea of paying $4 or $5 each for a stash of JoeyBunz or MOE inserts does not appeal to me!

What can you use that's CHEAP and easy? I'm willing to make some myself if it only involves super-basic skills. I don't have a sewing machine.

Thanks!

I feel the same way about paying so much for inserts! I use microfiber auto towels. I can get 12 at Target for $7, and I've found they hold as much as an MOE insert. They won't have re-sale value, but that's fine by me. They are trim, absorbant, and very inexpensive!
