I sewed these by hand last night. They are made out of a sweater I got at goodwill for about $2. They are sooo soft. Made of lambswool and angora. I put them to the test last night, and they are bone dry on the outside!!!

Guess it would help to have a link, huh? :LOL

Thanks mamas!! I loved every second of hand stitching these pants for Sam I don't think I've made anything for him. I can't wait to start the next pair.

Oh, and he *is* a chunky monkey, isn't he!! :LOL

Absolutely adorable!!!

And those wool pants are pretty cute, too.

I am totally sewing-impaired, but I have *got* to ask...How did you do that? Did you lay out the sweater and cut out a pants shape and then sew the pieces together?

What a nifty idea.

Nope, even easier!! :LOL I used the sleeves as the legs, and another pull-on soaker I have as a pattern. I altered it a bunch, but that the just of it. Really easy, and I don't sew!

That's it? Wow. I was expecting it to be more complicated. And you don't sew either? I think you've inspired me to give this a try. Your Sam and those little pants are too cute!

Please post pictures when you make some more. I'd love to see them.
