Hi everyone!

I also posted this in the May 2011 due date forum because I could go either way at this point...Gotta love copy and paste ;)

I've finally decided to make a post because my work email is down right now LOL

I've been lurking around here and there and decided it is time to introduce myself.

My name is Tricia and I am expecting baby # 2 around May 31, 2011 (so technically I could be May or June)

I had my son, Traftyn, at home in 2007 and we are very excited about the arrival of another little one.

I always thought I was "good" with just one, but sometimes the universe has other plans for you than what you have for yourself ;)

I am a WAHM (Media Buyer) who is also going to school full time for Naturopathy ..my true passion and calling.

I am married to the love of my life Steve and we live in Warren, MI (right outside of Detroit).

Our dream was to move out to the country and become more self-reliant, but that dream has been put on hold temporarily until after the birth of this little one and we can begin to get some finances in order.

Traftyn is enrolled at a local Montessori school (although I am a HUGE Waldorf lover at heart..just couldn't afford it this year). My true desire would be to homeschool, but alas I found it hard to be SUPER DUPER Mom and work full time, school full time and try to find any time to spend with Traft during the day to stimulate his inquisitive little mind.

SO, for now I am just rolling in the flow of life and remembering to enjoy the ride. Perhaps one day all of my dreams/desires will come true...and in the meantime, I am learning to stay in the present moment and be grateful for all the opportunites I do have right now.

In the back of my mind I am a bit leary of birth this time around..I had a wonderful homebirth, but had pp hemorrhage and had to be transported to the hospital. Lost A LOT of blood but opted not to do the blood transfusion. Not sure what caused the hemorrage..I know I had a low-lying placenta, and I had a hard time birthing the placenta so my midwife did end up tugging a bit on it. It came out after the tug but it felt as if it was torn out of my uterus and I could feel that she wasn't quite ready to come out. Hoping not to have the same issues this time around and will be making sure I have some herbal allies on hand (just in case).

Looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you

Infinite blessings for a happy & healthy 9months!
