Hey, mamas... just wanting to share where we are at, as i have not been on in here in a while...

We are not doing so well here. My 2 yo got H1N1 over the weekend, and had high fevers and vomiting all weekend, and then a double ear infection. He is doing much better now, thankfully, and his 5 yo bro, DH, and I have not gotten it. I called my OB yesterday, and they recommended Tamiflu for me, and I asked for blood work, as my HPT were neg. on Sun. morning, despite high temps and still feeling pregnant. So, after a long day of waiting, I found out last night that my HCG is only 2. Not good at all . I still feel very pregnant, and temps are still high. They said I could not still be pregnant. Has any one else ever experienced that low of hcg and still remained pregnant??? I have a friend in the medical field, and she rec. waiting until 30 days past when I think I implanted, which would be Dec. 6 for me, and then test with an HPT again. Obviously, if I start bleeding sooner, I will know that this LO is not meant to stay with us. This is so hard, and I feel so raw. I just wanted to share with you mamas what the update has been. Hugs to you all, and TIA for any feedback. michelle

I'm really sorry, but that does sound bad. As if you didn't have enough to worry about already. Are you going in for an u/s anytime soon to see if maybe the bloodtest was just a dud? Or having the bloodtest repeated?

ETA: What made you take an HPT over the weekend despite feeling pg? Did you feel like something was wrong?

Thanks so much for your kind words and gestures, mamas... unfortunately, about 30 min. after I posted, heavy bleeding started, so this little one is not meant to stay. I took a super long hot bath and cried a lot, and know this must somehow be what is meant to be, but goodness, is it hard. This is our 3 loss, and it does not get any easier. The only thing I know is that we mamas are strong, and that we make it through. I am so very thankful for the 2 amazing boys that we do have, and for my awesome hubby. Hugs to all of you mamas, and many good wishes for continued health and lovely pregnancies and births. Hugs, Michelle

Oh Bluebird/Michelle, I am so sorry to hear that. How nervewracking to have a suspicion something is wrong and then have it confirmed. I am amazed by your graceful words about it. Take care of yourself and here's hoping you're back in a DDC soon.

(((Michelle))) I'm SO sad to see you go. You're right, mamas are strong and you will of course make it through... but it is really rough and raw. I'm so so sorry. Take care.

Thank you all so very much for your kind words of comfort and validation. It helps after a long night and a sad awakening this morning. I appreciate the comraderie of you fellow mamas, even after a short bit . I am off to go play on the floor with my 2 yo, who is up super early, and just soak him up. I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers as you continue to have healthy and beautiful journeys. Hugs, mamas... michelle
