I see many posts where women say they've took progesterone to prevent a chemical pregnancy (or so i think).
What is the significance of progesterone, B6 and other supplements in relation to chemical pregnancies?
Should any woman take either after O when ttc?

Thank you in advance all who share!!!

I too would like to know. This is my third month taking b6, vitex, and red raspberry. The longest cycle I've had since my mc back in Nov. is 24 days and that was the only month that I didn't dtd at the right time. Every other month I dtd in the day or two prior to ovulation. Those months af came at days 18, 21 and 22. I have got to think that it is lpd or some other progesterone issue. Frustrating!

The point of progesterone is to prolong the luteal phase, so if you have a short luteal phase it allows the fertilized egg to implant. You have to use it from the day you ovulate until 14 days later (I'm using it longer than that to hopefully prolong my lp even longer so my fertile window is at the right time next month)

It doesn't prevent a chemical pregnancy, it just allows those with shorter LPs (like 9 days) to have a better chance at implantation before AF shows.
