yes i will admit, i know NOTHING about trees or nature or anything of the sort...i'm a city girlbut we moved to the burbs, and we have a lovely cherry tree in our backyard. last year, we only had a few cherries that disappeared pretty quickly. this year, the tree is bursting with them! we are interested in picking them but we don't know anything...dh asked if they are okay to eat, even. so what do i do? when are they pickable? and what do i do with them after that? i'm interested in making a pie, but i don't know how to do it with fresh cherries...
