We buy Nordic Berries. They are soft and chewy. We used to get a vitamin that was like a gummy bear. Both we purchase at our local health food store. My DS is 23 months and has been eating the Nordic Berries since about 18 months. Last fall he started the gummy bears. Once I knew he could safely chew or swallow the gummy bear was when we started him on them. The Nordic Berries are harder than the gummy but still chewy and he has never had an issue with them. While I found the gummy bear vitamins too candy like in appearance, my older DS is very very picky and it was the only vitamin we could get in him. Then over the winter I was informed that there is one ingredient in the gummy bear vitamins that was synthetic. Where in the Nordic Berries it was natural. My picky DS was given one to try and loved it. So we switched. I know Flinstones make a toddler "my first vitamin" kind of thing. My picky DS spit them out. (keep in mind I cannot even get tylenol in him) There are a few others I have seen. But due to my picky son this is where we ended up.
