Can anybody give me some links that tell me about what the Chicken pox virus does very specifically from the time it enters the body, to the time it exits? I want information so detailed, I need to know definitions for stuff in microbiology. Thanks!

The virus doesn't exit - ever. It lies dorman in the nerve cells in sensory ganglia near the spine, until your immunity wanes. Then it causes shingles. As long as your immunity remains intact, it lies dormant forever, but it never leaves the body. It's a herpes virus. They all go through dormant stages like that.

Oh yeah, I knew about the virus laying dormant in your system then coming back as shingles later on. My presentation can only be on chicken pox...so what I really meant instead of "exiting" is how it "calms down" I guess.

Thanks for the link!
