Hello,

All my four little ones are in some stage of the CP. My 6 yr old DD has two really big poxs on her face that to me look infected. I have been putting vit E on the scabs and just treating the poxs with Calamine lotion. Any ideas what to put on the possibly infected ones? I would like to save her from any scarring on her face. I have been washing her face with a warm oatmeal solution and she is taking vit E capsules internally.

Thanks
Sarah

Not sure if this helps, but I (mommy) have chicken pox at 24. Had them when I was 7 too My holistic doc prescribed me lots of vitamin A and B-12, and I was told by a wise momma to rub apple cider vinegar on the pox to make them stop itching as well as drink a glass of water mixed with 2 tbs of ACV to also help with the itch. I think it has actually been helping...gl, CP sucks! Not sure about the face ones- maybe cover them?

My three kids all had cp at the same time. Not bad at all. No problems. But the littlest one got several on her face and scratched one between her eyebrows almost constantly. I warned her.... but anyway... she got a scar from it.

The scar was on her fact for about 10 yrs. but it grew smaller and smaller and then it disappeared completely. Just thought I'd let you know. There is absolutely no sign of it now.
